"Refudiate" reminded me of something! Do you think Glennie will be upset now that Simple Sarah won't talk to him anymore? And do you suppose that will make his wife happy? After all, the only other politicians he has swooned over are men, and she doesn't have to worry about other men.

I'm shure that he can make a call to his Madem from the Senate floor as he did in Congress and get beckie hooked up in a heart beat!

So, in other words, GBTV is going to put FOX News out of business. (That'll show'em!) I'll bet Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes are both having panic attacks at this very moment.

I love the way Glenn admits that FOX doesn't tell the truth...although they are the "closest" to it. I'll bet FOX appreciates that.

      Poor Glenn Beck -

You have this dream that you're going to rally all the young people to your side and thus grow your influence and your empire even more.

But among your many flaws there are 2 main ones that will prevent this from happening.

First, you're fake. Your whole act is transparent. Chalkboards? Old Timey TV sets? Red baiting? It works on the old, the slow minded and dim witted, but it wont work on clever young people.

Second, you're hateful and mean spirited. You are aware of this, and many times on your shows you've said that you're going to change direction and that you are going to start filling people with hope and you're going to take the high road and you're going to restore HONOR and COURAGE and you're going to be a positive influence in people's lives. But then the next day, or even later in the same show, you're back to attacking the people you don't like, attacking their families, their religious beliefs, and trying to scare your audience with apocalyptic visions. You have no choice, that's who you are. Unfortunately for you, young people are not going to put up with that, they're going to tune that out really fast.

      So good luck going nowhere!

Isn't reality a B*TCH, eh, Glennie? You keep expecting that your employer will be happy with your craziness, mean spirit, self-aggrandizement, greed, and contempt for everyone around you. You expect them to keep taking it and paying you the big bucks to make yourself look good at their expense. Face it, Glennie, you failed at Fox, just like you failed in every other job. Do you really think you will be able to become the King of All Media on the backs of your few loyal fans, most of whom are older and not very wealthy? Do you think you can win in a p*ssing contest with Fox? Do you think the Huntsmans and the Koch are going to bail you out? Glennie, I used to think you were smart about your con jobs. If you're really doing this, those drugs did more damage to your brain than what I thought.

Mr Beck claims to be a member of AA,and sober over 10 years. Eventually he will get around to making amends. Not being hammered does not count as sobriety if you are still hurting others for money.I also don't think he buys into the "you reap what you sow" concept.

I agree with your statements, but I believe that fox could care less about what hateful things beckie said, as with all of their employees. They condone and encourage this type of programing. The one and only reason that beckie is being shown the door is that fox was loosing money with his show.

Beck, here is more useful information on your target demographic.

As people age they start to look back more than they look forward. Some of those people look back with happy memories of fun times, adventures, accomplishments, and love. Some of those people look back with regret, wishing they'd done something else or made different decisions. This is your audience. You fill the emptiness for them. You give them something to blame their unhappiness on. You make them feel like it wasn't their fault. You are good at this and if you find a way to get these geezers online they will keep you comfortably rolling in the dough while you serve them the steady stream of hate and lies that lessens the pain of their existence.

Young people, who are filled with hope and who are looking to the future, will never pay 5 bucks a month to watch GBTV.com.

The beautiful thing about the younger generation taking over is that most of them don't care what your skin color may be or if your gay or straight. This of course does not apply to those that live in the bible belt. Where they are not educated and only tought to hate people that are not ignorant as- holes like themselves. Because the bible told them so. Yes the god fearing bible thumpers. I consider myself to be a very good person that believes in Jesus's teachings. They were about love and helping your neighbor. I have never heard of the Christ preaching the hateful things that these bible thumpers profess to be true. They always try to quote the bible as the only law of mankind and everyone must follow every word. If this is true why are there so many of these "belivers" eating shell fish and shrimp? The bible says that if you eat this dirty food you shall be put to death! I guess they just pick and choose what part of their all knowing bible to believe in, you know the parts that they try to control with.

It's funny that he'd want to make such a comparison. I brought up the same exact thing a couple of days ago to highlight what a miserable value his website GBTV.com provides. On Netflix, you have thousands of titles. You can watch instantly, or order DVDs. That's worth about $10/mo to me.

On GBTV.com, Glenn's $10/mo website, you can stream his show, that's it. O, yeah, and the Restoring Courage rally. And other "great features" which are so lame individually that they have been bundled together and sold as a miscellaneous category. Things like Glenn Beck University -- that's right, it's a university whose namesake does not hold a college degree. You can also stream the video for his radio show, which adds almost nothing to sweeten the pot.

It's a bad value, plain and simple. Beck is a charlatan, a huckster and a fraud. Anybody who buys a subscription from him is a fool, and very likely worse. And GBTV.com is a bad business model, which will be corrected by the market, sooner rather than later.

netflix has begun to create it's own original content. they're a forward thinking company who reacts nimbly to it's competitors product and it's consumer's needs. it's a politidrama starring kevin spacey and i believe directed by david fincher. potentially very high quality stuff. they beat out amc and hbo in a pitch to air it.

glenn beck is not forward thinking. he is regressive and reactionary. in his own analogy, glenn beck is blockbuster rolling out it's delivery by mail system 3 years late and completely inadequately in a desperate attempt to hang on to cultural relevance and customers they took for granted.

Glenn is sort of designed like a Yugo. One day, in a driving rainstorm, I helped some poor guy get his Yugo started in front of my house. The distributor, in a fiendish fashion , was placed in front of the biggest hole in the grill- directly behind the fan, where it could get the maximum amount of water. After drying the distributor, points and condensor, and wrapping it in plastic, we got the poor misdesigned thing to run. I think Beck has water on his neural pathways, causing his brain to misfire, or not fire at all.

You know, I have to admit, I regret not investing in Netflix back when its shares were smaller. This was when people said, "Nah, why wait for a video to come to your house when you can just go to the video store?"

Blockbuster's mail service couldn't even beat Netflix when they came out with advertisements bragging that you could just go to the video store if you didn't want to wait for your next DVD to come.

With that said, you couldn't pay me to subscribe to GBTV.
