It's worse than that - recent declassified documents show Bush et. al. ignored ELEVEN warnings of an imminent attack.

And the hatred is all based on nothing, that's the even scarier part.

Mark Levin is what finally turned me off from right-wing radio. His tone and style made me realize that it was all propaganda and ratings for these guys.

Weiner probably wanted to have him impeached for being elected, but couldn't find a sufficiently plausible explanation for it.

Despite the fact that there are racists among the tea baggers, I still think it's a bad idea to simplify this by calling it racism above all - clouds the real issue, which is simply about control.

They want their business buds to be able to grab every penny, while at the same time convincing the poor white trash it's all in their best interests. They want their religious nut buds to give them support, so they support them, whether they're batsh*t-Bachmann crazy about it or not.

That said, yeah, they'd probably like Obama if he was White House Shoe-shiner....

Give them time. I know there's more than a few already spelling America with a 'k' and saying that this is the tipping point and we're all doomed to dictatorship and tyranny... Unlike the last tipping point, when we were all doomed to dictatorship and tyranny - guess we were only "mostly doomed" then, and "partially doomed" the time before.

They're kind of like the armageddon nuts, who keep predicting the end of the world any day now, and when they actually pick a date, and it doesn't come through, rather than say, "Hmmm... maybe we're over-reacting to stuff," just go back and pick another date.
